Did you know Syrah from France and Shiraz from Australia are the same grape variety? Syrah’s home region is Northern Rhone of France. The wine produced here has notes of blackberry, black pepper and chocolate (depending on the use of oak).Shiraz came to Australia only in the 1830s and quickly adapted to the warm climate of the region. Australian Shiraz is a rich, ripe, full-bodied wine with high alcohol and flavours of plum, blackberry and black pepper.

Tasting note: SYRAH -SHIRAZ SUPERIOR WINE is a magnet for the connoisseurs. Sparky dark-ruby color with granite-like nuances. Strongly fruit scented of black plum, olive, pepper. When poured into a glass, the wine is consistent with sweet savor of ripe small red fruit. Bovin’s Shiraz is recommended to be served at temperature of 12-14ºC along with grilled game garnished with marmalade made from red fruit and berries, with roasted beef and pork or with tasty Macedonian dishes with okra.
