I had planned this photoshoot for weeks, and on the actual day, I had a few breakouts on my face and I really wanted to reschedule the entire shoot. I just felt ugly! Plus I always struggle with body image, not feeling “fit” enough. So then when it’s time to take pictures, I can get really down on myself. I’m lucky I was doing this shoot with friends, or I probably would have tried to actually cancel. But seeing myself like this, I do see beauty. I look back at these images and wonder why the fuck I felt ugly 😂 it changes daily, one day I feel amazing and beautiful, the next I feel plain. Let’s try to uplift each other, because I see so many of my friends struggle with this same sentiment.
