Read 180 Workshop student reminder board to refer to throughout the workshop. I made posters like it to hang up in my classroom after our workshop is done and I wipe the whiteboard clean. The solid boxes with checkmarks help with pacing and showing progression through the workshop. The dashed boxes are for checkpoints/conferences with students. This is my Success Zone board in my Read180 Computer Lab. When the student completes a story, they finish by entering the Success Zone. When completed, they receive a "dot" under their name with the date they completed the Success Zone. They can visually see their progress throughout the year. You can use any theme you like. Last year I used Stars. System 44, Special Education Reading, Read 180, 6th Grade Reading, Golden Key, 5th Grade Reading, Middle School Reading, 2nd Grade Reading, Computer Lab

So this morning when I signed on and saw that Jessica over at Joy in the Journey was having a linky about classroom libraries, I had to jump on the linky wagon to rerun a few pictures and share my Book Recommendation form. Read 180 Library For…

Hello again! It feels like I was just publishing my May post yesterday! That's what June does to a teacher! Anyway, it's Nicole from Learning Lab again. I am happy to be here! Who here teaches Read180? A few years ago, I stepped into a long-term subbing position that used the Read180 program to teach reading and writing. The teacher that retired in the middle of the school year had already set up great routines with the class so my transition into becoming the Read180 teacher went pretty…
