Description I was very sick of the unkindness I was seeing in my classroom when I created this. I printed on cardstock, laminated, and posted in several places throughout the classroom. I also glued one to a poster and had the kids sign the pledge. If the pledge is broken, they write the pledge as many times as I see fit to remind them of what they signed. This has helped! Revised! Just added a second page with smaller versions to pass out to students.

An examination of 196 country reports to the United Nations reveals a giant gap between what nations declare their emissions to be versus the greenhouse gases they are sending into the atmosphere. The gap ranges from at least 8.5 billion to as high as 13.3 billion tons a year -- surpassing the annual emissions of China.
