The 1,800-square-foot 1820s apartment has 17-foot beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, a large skylight, heated hardwood floors, a terrace, a shared garden, and a wood-burning fireplace.

The uber-cool pad is in the heart of sough-after Melbourne suburb of Brunswick in a 102-year-old building that was once a Spanish wine cellar and converted into four stylish apartments.

It’s now a screenwriter’s sanctuary.
