Hello all, Part three of this overview is forthcoming. I was asked about the costumes of Trondelag, and so I wrote this one first. This is the fourth part of my overview of Norwegian Costumes. This stunning outfit originated in Leksvik area of Norway. The flowers that are embroidered on the outfit are typical of the flowers found in the fields around Leksvik. This version of traditional Norwegian clothing was developed in 1992 by Olga and Inger Gangstad.
