Leonard Koscianski was born in 1952, Cleveland, Ohio. As an undergraduate, Koscianski first studied art history and architecture, and was a student of R. Buckminster Fuller and art historian, Gabriel Weisberg, a specialist in 19th century French art. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
