Still exploring Harpeth State Park. We checked out another spot in the park called the Narrows of the Harpeth. It was sooooo pretty! Prettier than Hidden Lake, but it is November! It turns out there is a large Florida soft shell turtle community at West Lake Park. Very odd because they weren't there last year. I think these are Apalone ferox species. These turtles really like to eat cheap cat food from Publix))). This lake also house one super giant freshwater tarpon. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a photo of it yet. But, it was huge, almost the size of an arapaima.
Look inside to see the newer playground at Frisco Lake Park located in Olathe, KS. Park has a nice lake and walking trail.
