In the Philippines was appeared in 1953. But before that year, while the late 1940s, a number of academic experiments had been completed and reproduced by Filipino engineering students, James Lindenberg who began collecting spreaders and recognized the Bolinao Electronics Corporation (BEC) in 1946. In the beginning of the Philippine television networks buy the rights of the American TV broadcasts and publications in order to attract advertisers as well as to support increased viewership.
