This is a natural progression from the How To - Hand Painted Yarn, because you follow pretty much the same steps, except for the way you apply the dye. Speckle dyeing gives you a yarn that had dots of colour scattered throughout the skein. Typically you will get only a couple of stitches of each colour, and the colours will blend.
