Explanation of Psyche.

Psyche was a mortal princess who was worshipped for her beauty. After falling in love with Eros (Cupid) and losing him, Psyche had to complete four impossible tasks assigned by the jealous Aphrodite, before she could be reunited with him. Psyche was made the goddess of the soul by Zeus, so she could live forever with Eros.
