FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is a movement that essentially says if you save and invest $X by a certain age, you'll be able to stop working and live off withdrawals from your investment portfolio for the rest of your life. 💁‍♀️ My estimated traditional FIRE number is about $1.25 to $1.5 million, but I know that will probably change, since I have no idea what my life, responsibilities, and expenses will be like in the next few decades! FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is a movement that essentially says if you save and invest $X by a certain age, you'll be able to stop working and live off withdrawals from your investment portfolio for the rest of your life. 💁‍♀️ My estimated traditional FIRE number is about $1.25 to $1.5 million, but I know that will probably change, since I have no idea what my life, responsibilities, and expenses will be like in the next few decades!
