We intuitively know that humans can have a dark side. What is less obvious is that has our dark side can be both positive and negative.

The Dirty Do-en is a recently developed, concise measure of the Dark Triad (i.e., narcissism, psychopathy, & Machiavellianism). However, recent evidence has questioned the validity of this scale.
