Darius weighs three and a half stone and measures 4ft 4in - but now his son Jeff is threatening to steal his title. Both live in Worcestershire with owner Annette Edwards (pictured with Jeff).

At 4ft 4in (1.3m) and 22.2kg, Darius is currently the biggest rabbit in the world, but he may not hold that title for much longer, because there's a new pretender – his son. Jeff is 3ft 8in (1.1m) and has about 6 months of growing left, so his owner, Annette Edwards, expects him to grow larger than his dad.

These bunnies are big as hell. And they're not sorry.

Darius, aged three, munches through an incredible 12 carrots a day to keep up his strength and fuel his amazing growth spurt. It is a double celebration for Darius, whose birthday is on Easter Sunday.

This Easter Bunny weighs a whopping three-and-a-half stone and is four foot three inches long - making him the biggest rabbit ever recorded.
