I had a scheduled post about a little trip I took this weekend, but it will have to wait for a couple days. My friend Lana C. shared a link on Facebook this morning of the Dior in Miniature installation that was unveiled yesterday in China (apparently the first stop on a 12 stop tour). The installation is a "tribute to the meticulous handwork of the House of Dior Haute Couture ateliers whose talent is expressed in the miniature clothes that resemble the originals in every tiny detail". Each dress a beautifully detailed recreation of an original Dior gown, a masterpiece in miniature. Wouldn't you love to see the archives? I know I would. In den Regalen der Spielzeugläden reihen sich die schönsten Puppen aneinander. Allerdings haben sie einen Nachteil: jede von ihnen hat nur EIN Kleid an. Und ihre Nachbarin sogar das gleiche. Was kann man da nur tun? Ja genau ... ein eigenes wunderschönes Abendkleid stricken. Dafür braucht man nur 15 g Sockenwolle und ein Nadelspiel der Stärke 2 oder 2,5. Auf 11 Seiten erkläre und zeige ich Schritt für Schritt, wie es gestrickt wird. Wir stricken nur rechte und linke Maschen. Ihr solltet mit einem Nadelspiel stricken können. Ansonsten ist alles ganz kinderleicht und unkompliziert. Die Kleider passen allen kleinen Anziehpuppen, die ca. 28 bis 30 cm groß sind. Zu allen gezeigten Kleidern gibt es genaue Materialangaben. Ihr könnt einfarbige Wolle, Wolle mit Farbverlauf oder Wolle und einen Glitzer-Beilauffaden verwenden. Jedes Modell sieht einfach wunderschön und elegant aus.
