I have a painting from my university days (2009), measuring 70x60 cm, created on wood. The artwork features an abstract representation of the American flag. In reality, what I wanted to convey through this painting is the idea that the ‘American Dream’ is built upon pain and sacrifice. Looking back, I realize that these paintings have shaped my perspective on contemporary art.
