Lighting Info: I used 3 Canon 430 EXII speedlights. 1) 1/4 power 6 feet behind subject at should height pointed directly at his back to create rim light and to light cigarette smoke. 2) Speedlight with beauty dish at 1/16th camera right 3 feet from subject head height pointed directly at his face to create separation from black on hat, face and chest. 3) 1/8 power camera right just out of frame being handheld by assistant pointed directly at subjects eyes with grid.
