The author of "Architectural Follies in America", KY's Clay Lancaster was charmed by the idea of creating them. His three-story octagonal Warwick Tower contains an elliptical parlor-dining room, a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, & a storage area for his research files. Warwick Tower is modeled on the Tower of the Winds, an octagonal tower, probably 1st century, on the agora in Athens. - Taken from "KENTUCKY - Historic Houses & Horse Farms of Bluegrass Country" - Photographs by Pieter Estersohn
