Orton Gillingham is a multi-sensory phonics method for reading instruction. This is good for special education and general education students at all levels. This program is good for all students because it uses all different multiple intelligences. The strategy includes phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, fluency, and comprehension strategies.
