Appliqued cushion

Appliqued cushion with hand and machine embroidery in cream and black on grey. It is made of heavyweight cotton with a polyester, non allergic inner and can be machine washed. The cushion measures approximately 35 x 35 cm and has an envelope style opening at the back. The back of the cushion is plain grey.

New Block Design :: Half Moon Rising

Inspired by this image: ffffound.com/image/57e95d80e2da03cc22be69bd2296a244a6942a5f I improvisationally pieced these blocks and sewed them together for the pillow top. I see so many possibilities at this scale and larger as well as improv and template-based versions.
