An amazing sculptural installation by Neil Dawson.  I love the massive scale of this, and the impression you get looking at it that it's like a doodle on a photograph or something generated in photoshop, until you see the additional pictures and realize that it isn't.  I'm also impressed that it holds up well from multiple viewing angles; at no time does it ever really look "Flat".

The process that he calls “casting the invisible” involves draping the plastic sheeting over stacked cardboard boxes, which are then removed to leave only their impressions. This process of reversing sculpture is Onishi’s meditation on the nature of the negative space, or void, left…
