The dried up pond reminds me of Death Valley so I used it as my foreground as it leads to the rising sun. I shot the upper half of the image during the early hours to catch the milky way at a vertical position. The lower half was shot at sunrise. #fstoppers

Walking along the shore of Beauvert Lake, in Jasper (Canada) I found this tree that had a trunk with spectacular shapes, you just had to look for the right frame. It looked like it wanted to enter the water but something prevented it, as if it was holding on to the shore as it could. #fstoppers
