Georgette, a peregrine falcon. She was a fledging when she arrived at the Raptor Trust in the summer of 2006. Peregrine falcons are the fastest creatures on the planet. In a hunting dive, they can fly up to 200 m.p.h. Favorite nesting sites are high, rocky cliff ledges overlooking a lake, stream or river, but are also known to nest on the rooftops or ledges of city buildings and in the steelwork of bridges. She's another educational bird at the Raptor Trust.
