Xandt Sebastian Your response to the cover is overwhelming, thanks everyone for your constant support and faith in my work. Never forget: if you take an arrow to the knee, don't fall for the wrong person.
Brophy Anti-Tank rifle - During the Korean War, Major Bill Brophy took a captured Russian PTR anti-tank rifle, mounted a Unertl telescopic sight and a .50 BMG barrel, and he then had one long distance sharpshooting rifle. Today this single-shot is a long ways from the Chosin Reservoir, but come by and see it at much closer range at the NRA’s National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA.
Hall Carbine - Our GOTD, the Hall Model 1836 carbine, had a couple of strikes against it. The breechloading system designed by John H. Hall tended to leak abundantly and the reversed bayonet was awkward to deploy. Some of the 2,020 examples of this model mare known to have been issued to the 2nd Dragoons serving in Florida and our carbine even has a sling ring mounted on the wrist. But for a .64 caliber smoothbore, it wasn’t all bad. At the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA.
