Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev in Kenneth MacMillan's 'Romeo and Juliet' for the Royal Ballet - one of the most famous ballet adaptations. The first performance in 1965 was applauded by the audience for 40 minutes in spite of the fact that Nureyev was recovering from an injury and danced with a bandaged leg.
