Hedy Lamarr born Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler on November 9, 1913 in Vienna, Austria. She was often called “The Most Beautiful Woman in Films” and was a major contract star at MGM. Lamarr died in Casselberry, Florida on January 19, 2000, aged 86. Her son Anthony Loder, in accordance with her last wishes, took her ashes to Austria and spread them in the Vienna Woods.
