Pope Francis once described the Church as a field hospital for sinners that goes out to the peripheries. The field hospital's got strong medicine. ...but do we even get that impression (both about the field hospital and the medicine) from the way Mass is celebrated at our parishes? At all?
(Symbols) The Tabernacle is a very important symbol to this sacrament. It holds the hosts that are taken to the sick and dying. While a light is always burning when present, quiet prayer is a tradition within the Church.
