Pope Francis once described the Church as a field hospital for sinners that goes out to the peripheries. The field hospital's got strong medicine. ...but do we even get that impression (both about the field hospital and the medicine) from the way Mass is celebrated at our parishes? At all?
"The Eucharist is the bread that gives strength… It is at once the most eloquent proof of His love and the most powerful means of fostering His love in us. He gives Himself every day so that our hearts as burning coals may set afire the hearts of the faithful."— St. Damien of Molokai
