we're so quick to live by labels. we meander through a life of accepting what others say of us or how we define ourselves. we label ourselves as depressed or socially anxious or extroverted or introverted or popular or awkward and we miss the perfect, complicated, but simple mess of just living. that we are just humans. we miss that we can actually not even care what everyone thinks. we miss that we can forget about those labels and simply be...be us. we can love who we were made to be and where

Ambiance- Daisy is talking about her life with Gatsby five years ago and says: "One autumn night five years ago, they had been walking down the street when the leaves were falling... the quiet lights in the houses were humming out into the darkness..." (Fitzgerald 110) In this scene you can picture where Daisy and Gatsby are and their surroundings.
