Heres a brief tutorial from Sue Reno with all the details youll need to create successful cyanotype prints using the Jacquard Cyanotype Set.

Wheat paste resist on fabric - experiments – I had only used this before to create an overall crackle effect. Now I’m painting and stamping shapes and patterns with the paste. These fabrics will be over-painted with at least two additional colors of acrylic paint before incorporating in an art quilt. Thank you Florida sun for the fast drying!

Rinne Allen paints light-sensitive solution onto thick watercolor paper, but the pretreated sheets in store-bought kits work just as well. She likes the Sunprint kit for paper (sunprints.org) and the Lumi Inkodye kit for fabric (store.lumi.co). In any case, the process remains the same.
