Long Beach peach is a new, excellent peach for low chill climates, yet also hardy to USDA zone 7.  Enjoy medium to large fruit with red over yellow skin.  Flesh is firm, sweet and juicy.  Freestone.  Long Beach will produce heavy without the need of a pollinator.  The peaches will be ready late May to early June.  Plant with a July ripening peach such as Elberta for extended harvest.
