This hack blends butt joints seamlessly! (Definition: butt joint: joining wood by placing their ends together.) Here’s how: 1. Slightly over lap two pieces of wood. 2. Lay the wood across your miter saw in the vertical position. 3. Draw one line across both boards. 4. Move your saw to 45 degrees. 5. Add a spacer to the side where the overlapped board does not touch the fence. 6. Clamp the board and spacer to the fence. 7. Make one 45 degree cut through both boards at once! 8.
