273K views · 29K reactions | Comment “LINK” for the treat mold! 🐶 Edit: Wow, this is blowing up! I’ve added the link into my bio to help, as there have been so many requests ❤️ This is the easiest way that I’ve ever found to make bulk training treats. No mixing, no additions, just simply spread and bake. It’s truly that simple! I’ve also really liked this treat mold because it came with the little white spreader/spatula that’s really helpful for the whole process. This silicone mold can also act as a lick mat, or be used to make small frozen treats as well. Lots of potential uses! 🔥 Tip: Keep your treats in an air-tight container to store. Keeping them in the fridge will definitely keep them fresh for longer as well (1-2 weeks). They also freeze wonderfully, so you can freeze portions of training treats to take out at a later date if you’re doing a big bulk bake. 🍖 Let me know below if you’d like to see more DIY treats this month. There are so many potential combinations! Follow @bindisbucketlist for more 🐶❤️ Edit: This pate here is @openfarmpet chicken and salmon recipe. The consistency is absolutely perfect for making treats like this, since it’s very smooth! #dogtreats #DIYdogtreats #easydogtreats #treatsfordogs #dogtreatrecipes #dogtreatrecipe #bulkdogtreats | Canine Enrichment with Bindi, Rosie & Taylor | bindisbucketlist · Original audio

6.1K views · 633 reactions | Place work is one of the most essential foundational exercises in my training. While it may seem simple, it’s a critical tool for addressing a wide range of unwanted behaviors. Here are just a few ways place work can help resolve your dog’s challenges: Many dogs struggle with turning off their energy, staying stuck in an adrenalized state because they don’t know how to calm themselves. Place work is key to helping them learn how to regulate their nervous system. Some dogs constantly invade their owner’s space, which can lead to issues like separation anxiety or resource guarding. Place work can help with that too. If your dog is reactive when guests arrive or deliveries are made, teaching them to go to their place instead of rushing the door can solve the problem. The best part? Place work isn’t hard to teach—if you do it right. Keep it simple. The hardest part for some is understanding that to get the full benefit, place work should be free from food, praise, or touch. This exercise is about letting your dog organically discover the calm and balance that comes from being in “do not disturb” mode. Anything extra can dilute that experience. Want to learn how to master place work? Come to my next Learn to Lead workshop on October 4-6 at my ranch in Templeton, California. While working spots have been sold out for a while, a few audit spots are still available. DM the word “AUDIT” for more info! #dogtraining #doglover #workshops | Cheri Wulff Lucas

126K views · 9K reactions | Emotions will always over rule Obedience (or thinking). In other words, fears, anxiety, over excitement will block a dog from listening to Sit, Stay, Come. It doesn’t matter what anybody says, the survival response of fight or flight will take precedence over being “obedient” or listening to a command. That’s why it may seem like your dog is being disobedient or stubborn but he’s not. There’s always a reason and it could be stress or fear. There are 3 main reasons why dogs misbehave. I talk about this in 3 Secrets to a Calm Dog Masterclass. Comment Academy and I’ll send you a link to sign up and watch it for free. This dog is nervous. It’s not very obvious but she’s hypervigilant (looking all around), she flicks her tongue, she pants, all of these are signs of stress. She has to check outside, make sure there’s nothing scary, before she can check in with me. That’s because she’s worried to do anything else. She gets startled by a noise across the street and jumps, which validates the anxiety she feels. Did you see her jump? Emotional leaning is different from teaching your dog to respond to commands or cues. This is why I always add a form of Classical Conditioning to my training plans and online courses. Pavlov is always on your shoulder. 🔔🐕 Are you able to tell when your dog is nervous verses just distracted? Ps. This pup is a year old. She’s a lovely sweet dog and listens perfectly in the house. . #rescuedog #dogtraining #dogtrainingrevolution #doglovers #doglife #puppy #puppytraining #dogtrainingtips #forcefreetraining #positivereinforcement #kpa #reactivedog #dogaggression #ilovemydog #dogmom #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainingadvice #forcefree#lovebugsrescue #allabouttrainingdogs #orangecountydogs#newportbeach | All About Training Dogs | Joel Sunny · Luminary
