We read the story "Splat the Cat" and the students created their own drawing of Splat. They sketched their cat in pencil, painted with tempera paint, and used construction paper and pipecleaners to add the face and whiskers. Love "Splat the Cat"
Deviled Egg Chicks: Cut eggs to remove yolks as in picture. Use your favorite deviled egg recipe and prepare the filling. Fill eggs and replace top. Use a bit of black olive and carrot to make eyes and nose. Cute idea for Easter!
Easter Bunny Rolls: Prepare your favorite yeast roll recipe, shape dough into egg-shaped rolls, then poke two holes for eyes and pinch the ears up. Let rise, re-poke the eye holes if needed, and bake at temperature recommended in roll recipe.
fabric adhered with mod pog and sprayed over with clear coat-- I don't think I'd use this on a dresser, BUT what a great idea to incorporate into one of the doll house designs! Use fabric and modpodge for the "wallpaper" in the DIY doll house!
