* “Among the Turnips ” A fine rural study by Frank Meadow Sutcliffe demonstrating his mastery of the whole plate camera and early photographic materials. In a catalogue dated 1890 Sutcliffe titled this photograph “Man goeth forth to his labour until the Evening”. However, over the years the less poetic but more simple title has been adopted.
