In the year 1917, the Blessed Virgin Mary first appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal. In these apparitions, Mary asked the children to pray the Rosary daily for the conversion of sinners and for devotion to her Immaculate Heart. Last October, in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, Pope Francis formally consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
