Shanghai restaurant takes its cue from Tarantino...

It's a brave company that sets out to make its restaurant look like something out of Kill Bill, but that was the design brief Prism Design were given for the Shanghai branch of Japanese eatery Kemuri. Thankfully the result was not utter carnage – not a drop of blood

Qimin Hotpot in Shanghai. Organic is the focus at this Chinese style hot pot restaurant whose motto is “From Farm to Table.” Guests can choose their broth and then order from a variety of sets--including meat, veggie and seafood--which will be delivered to the table on a quaint rack ready for dipping into the boiling broth. A shot of iced vinegar helps to cleanse your palate afterward.

A lovely vintage teacup & saucer. It has a geometric pattern, and the cup even has a geometric shape! The design is made up of different Chinese patterns put together. Most of the patterns are accented in gold and the pieces are signed in Chinese. Bottom of both cup & saucer are signed in Chinese. Cup is just under 3" tall, saucer is about 6" across.
