Counting money games
Hands-on investigation for learning how to understand time. A large felt circle with smaller incremental circles/squares (hour, minutes) with 5-10-15-... would make an awesome time clock. Hour circles different color than minute circles. I would place the minutes in circles, hours in squares (or vice-versa) for easy differentiation. Lego's make up the 5 minute bars.
good game for coin review. ** REVIEW: Student needs to be able to add coins as well, or you should remove the more difficult cards for younger children (like mine). also, you will need to modify game b/c each card says "move one space". If you follow this, no one would ever get past the "move back 3 spaces" square. We rolled a dice instead and moved that many spaces.
