Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. use baking soda around all of the edges of flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. Do this twice a year - spring and fall.
Sod roofed house. This is in Norway --- The moss seems to absorb the rain AND humidity, -- I had "Grass" but it was moss, grass, lichens... on a red playhouse - and it NEVER leaked in 40 years.
Grounding. Imagine roots shooting from the sole of your feet deep down in the ground. Visualize this when the energies you feel are too intense. Sent excess energy into the ground. Also, best to be bare foot on soil or grass, but it's not a necessity. This technique is also protecting.
Landscape Design Tip: Lay stones directly on the earth's surface for a soft walk, no cement or mortar is necessary. Allow grass, moss and small flowers to grow in the cracks. #landscapedesign
