Two Indian Air Force pilots (Flight Lt. Lal and Flying Officer M. M. Sakhre) pose with their U.S. built Vultee A-31 Vengeance dive bombers at an air base from where they attacked the Japanese in Burma (Myanmar) during the Burma Campaign. The IAF played an instrumental role in blocking the advance of the Japanese Army in Burma. It also carried out strike missions against Japanese airbases in the north of Thailand. Assam, India.
