Just a handful of our favorite ornamental grasses for home landscapes. Grasses are waterwise and add movement, sound (rustle in the breeze) and light (backlighting on seed heads) to the landscape. All grasses shown here are clump-forming, not spreaders. To maintain, cut back to 6-12" to the ground in late winter. May be cut back in late fall but if you leave the seed heads, most provide food for overwintering birds.
