Conceptually, this moves me. Visually, it's stunning simplicity is irresistible.

Water Tower by Aman Yusuf I see Diagonal lines climbing in a repeating pattern, thrusting up a geometric pattern that seems more massive than any other in the frame. The repeating patterns of the the support structure are organic, but the smooth, white texture of the surfaces seem manufactured. The layout of the image seems unbalanced, heavily weighted at the bottom and upper right, adding to the precarious and somewhat chaotic feeling.

J.B. Bakema. Observation tower ‘Euromast’, Rotterdam, 1958. NAi Collection / MAQV 1144 Bakema designed the 125-meter observation tower on the occasion of the first international horticulture exhibition "Floriade", (Rotterdam, 1960). He based his idea for the structure on the Wolkenbügel projects by El Lissitzky in the 1920s. The municipal council wanted to erect a structure that reflected the pride of the city of Rotterdam. Bakema's design was never realized though.
