Navajo Code Talkers Activity
Students review what they have learned about the Navajo Code Talkers by creating a pamphlet and fulfilling 9 requirements of an academic and creative nature (students even get to write something using the actual Navajo Code!). A sample layout and points distribution are included (the project totals 100 points). This would be great for a sub!

This is a Google Resource for Code Talker by Joseph Bruchac. There are student questions, vocabulary activities, and Language Arts skills activities. I have made the quizzes and comprehension test available in Google Forms. Student activities are separate from quizzes, test, and answer keys.
World War 2 Review Activity
Students review World War 2 by helping FDR make 4 big decisions related to the attack at Pearl Harbor, the Holocaust, the atomic bomb, and Japanese-Americans. They create a pamphlet detailing the two main sides of the arguments for each topic (there are multiple questions and prompts for students to address per topic) and then help FDR decide what decision to make. There are 6 main requirements for students to address with multiple items to address within each requirement.
