Slow-Cooker Collard Greens with Ham Hocks Recipe
Slow-Cooker Collard Greens with Ham Hocks Recipe | Cooking this classic Southern side in a slow cooker not only frees you up to prepare other dishes, it frees up valuable stovetop space, as well. You can also make this holiday favorite a week or two ahead and freeze in air-tight bags, or make Collard Greens a day or two in advance and refrigerate in the slow cooker insert (if you have room!). Let the insert stand at room temp for 30 minutes, then return to slow cooker to reheat.
Best deer recipe PERIOD! Use the tenderloin of the deer, divide into 14 pieces. Cube an 8oz pk of cream cheese into 14 pieces. Add a slice of pickled jalapeño to each one and Wrap in bacon. 3-4 on a skewer. Cook on a heated baking sheet 375 for 12 min then flip, 12 more min. Then Broil for 5 min, rotating skewers to crisp bacon. Unbelievably awesome.
