Bias Cut Dress
Yuki evening gowns, Autumn-Winter, 1980s, the first of golden pleated crepe de chine, Gnyuki Torimu label, the tunic top with horizontally pleated pleated tied in a large bow at the back, over columnar skirt; the other of white draped jersey, Yuki London woven label, with rhinestone studded high collar, cuffs dolman sleeves
The heaviest of silks in crepe de chine is cut on the bias to fall into a slimline, seductively simple yet complex gown. The bias allows a perfect, form fitting dress and the bias sleeve yields easily to movement. Paired with a simple gown and striking bouquet, the back falls into a generous train and a sensually demure yet low back.
