Pinning this as the roof of my old theatre group caved in this morning and they're now demolishing it. It was an unstable, small, ancient building, but...Generations of memories. Props. Photographs. Light and sound equipment. Autographs. And nothing was saved. The people that grew up acting there have become family over the years. And we still are... RIP Creative Dramatics Workshop. i was cruella de'ville and everyone's like "i just hate her! she's so mean! how was it playing her?" and i was over here like," ok, first: she wasn't mean. she just wanted a coat! she didn't care what it took, she just wanted a unique coat made out of puppy fur!!" and i kept defending her and they were like "yeesh!" Theatre Kid // Yes, yes, yes. It annoys me so much. Specially when I can HEAR the whispers from one wing to the other, I mean, how loud can you whisper if I can hear from this far? Also, those are the damn dancers (we have dancers apart from actors, because we don't have musical theatre here) and they think they're better so they feel free to talk when actors are on stage.
