This is a 60th Birthday cake for someone whose favourite flowers are lilies. So I made a sugar(gum)paste arrangement of a fully open lily, a partially open one and a bud. Round the sides are mexican paste appliquéd lilies cut out using Patchwork Cutt hmmm... yummy recipe
