Altar to Freya
This is altar i recently built in honour of Freya, or Freyja - the norse goddess of love and beauty. The altar itself is a tree stump that I lugged home from the riverside one day, it has served for the basis of many different altars over the years and is well worn and loved. The little goddess figure is surrounded by brandberg amethyst crystals, and the photograph of the rushing waters behind was taken by my dad when he was doing a series of images of the elements for me.
