I've passed this statue many times but never took the time to see it up close and personal. Very beautiful. An angel taking a fallen soldier to the heavens. The CPR commissioned three of the statues, called "Winged Angel", from Montreal Sculptor Coeur de Lion MacCarthy to commemorate the 1,116 employees it lost in WWI.
