NACUBO report finds tuition discounting up again
Private college discount rates continue to increase. Figure 1: Average institutional tuition discount rate by student category. Line graph shows rate for first-time, full-time freshmen rising from 38.6 percent in 2006-07 to 49.9 percent in 2017-18, and the rate for all students rising from 35.1 percent to 44.8 percent in the same time period.
